Humppila Day

At Humppila museum railway station you can experience the happy market feeling and feel what was a train journey hundered years ago!

Steam locomotive hauled extra trains are in traffic between Humppila museum railway station and Palomäki halt. The timetable will be confirmed until the end of March 2011. The return trip costs 5 euros (adult) and 2.5 euros (children). Also the day tickets are valid on extra trains.

On Humppila Day the normal steam trains from Humppila to Jokioinen are also running. At Humppila station you can also ride a railway hand cars and visit Museum Railway Association's 40th anniversary exhibition.

Train timetable of the Humppila Day*

* There are extra steam trains running between Humppila and Palomäki halt. Departure times from Humppila are at 11.15, 11.45, 12.15, 12.45, 13.45 and 14.15. From Palomäki the departure times are 11.25, 11.55, 12.25, 12.55, 13.55 and 14.25. All trains stop on request at Kermala halt (5 min from Humppila and Palomäki). A round trip Humppila - Palomäki - Humppila takes 20 minutes. A special return trip Market Train ticket costs 5 euros for adults and 2.5 euros for 6 - 16 years old children.
