In the last weekend of scheduled traffic this summer, Jokioinen Museum Railway celebrates former Hyvinkää-Karkkila railway, which was opened for traffic one hundred years ago. The museum trains of next Sunday are hauled by locomotive number 5 of Hyvinkää-Karkkila railway. Also in the museum train are carriages from Hyvinkää-Karkkila railway.

Hyvinkää-Karkkila railway was operated from 1911 to 1967. When railway was shut down, the operator, Kymi Oy, donated steam locomotive number 5 to railway enthusiasts. The locomotive was then transported to Jokioinen railway and museum train traffic between Forssa and Humppila begun at 1971.
